Tim Smith
President
Del Norte Place Neighborhood Association
Welcome one and all to the first 2024 edition of Del Norte Place Neighborhood. We are so thankful for the warm feedback from residents over this past year and want you to know that we appreciate your words of encouragement.
More importantly, we seek your input and participation that helps get information out to all of our neighbors. We still have residents where an immediate line of communication is not available to us through an accurate e-mail address or a phone number. Not having a connection will limit your ability to get timely information about activities that you might otherwise enjoy participating in. We do what we can to distribute the local “news”, but the more we have simple connection information, the easier it is to share.
We are accessible and want all residents to have a wonderful life and the best neighborhood experience possible. The Del Norte Place Neighborhood Association clearly makes this a priority as written into our DNPNA Bylaws Mission Statement:
To preserve and improve the physical, social, and economic
health of the Del Norte Place Neighborhood and enhance the quality of life of all residents in Del Norte Place through community-based problem-solving. Additionally, the DNPNA will promote and support the historic designation status of the Del Norte Place Neighborhood as adopted by the City of Phoenix in the Historic Preservation Overlay on June 30, 1993.
Your DNPNA officers take a keen interest in building a neighborhood community that continues to offer inclusive participation. We encourage everyone to reach out with a willingness to contribute and help in this process. A past US President once said:
“one person can make a difference, and everyone should try” – John F. Kennedy.
So….
Don’t be shy, just stop on by and give it a try.
We will always be better together….
Del Norte Place Forever!!!
