DNPNA Grant Committee
One important function of the elected leadership of the Del Norte Place Neighborhood Association is to perform as a Steering Committee; to direct and approve the formation of various sub committees to handle issues necessary for the well being of our resident's interests. We welcome all suggestions and ideas that can achieve this mission.
This particular Grant Committee seeks to secure any legal funding opportunities that are offered through various grants provided by national, state and local governments. There are also potential private and corporate initiatives which often may seek a community's involvement, and offer potential benefits for our residents as well.

We've officially written and successfully submitted our Del Norte Place Neighborhood Association 2023-2024 Neighborhood Block Watch Grant Program Application. The review and approval process by the City of Phoenix Police Department will take place in the late spring of 2023. If this new grant is approved, it becomes active on July 1st of 2023 and the funds are spendable according to the written application's designed budgetary layout. These funds are appropriated for the City's complete fiscal year that ends on June 30th, 2024.

The Neighborhood Block Watch Grant Program provides an opportunity to enhance the safety and the quality of life in the city of Phoenix through empowerment of community groups that work to prevent and solve crime-related problems in their neighborhoods. The Neighborhood Block Watch Grant Program was created to provide funding to neighborhood groups to undertake new and innovative programs and activities aimed at preventing and reducing crime in the community. The current 2023 BW grant program allows submittal of applications for an amount up to $15,000.
