Nov 29 Fair Issues Meeting with Laura Pastor 

Local neighborhood residents and neighborhood association representatives were present to participate in a review of the events we experienced in each neighborhood during the most recent 2023 Arizona State Fair.  It was well run and everyone who wished to express their personal opinions and experiences to Laura Pastor and her staff were given as much time as it took.   Local precinct Phoenix Police officers were also on hand to share in the process and hear the stories.  Our Community Action Officer (CAO), Ben Harris was attending along with Resource Lieutenant Brian Milhone to participate in understanding these concerns.  Ben and Brian want to follow up with us on a continuing plan to address the neighborhood's fair issues.  Arizona State  Fair representatives were not present, so it will be imperative to have them at a meeting which Laura said she will work to arrange in May or June at latest.  We will continue to keep this neighborhood concern on our agenda of work to be done in the best interest of our community's well being.
