As always, there was increased City of Phoenix Police Security patrolling through the neighborhood, barricades to restrict outside traffic set up at each street along 15th Avenue, 16th Avenue, and 17th Avenue. No Parking signs are added along Virginia Avenue to keep fairgoers from illegally parking on our streets. The rest of the neighborhood already requires permit parking. During this time police patrols will monitor this situation. Make sure your permit is well displayed on your vehicles so there are no misunderstandings. Cars without proper permits are subject to towing.
We were disappointed and sorry that a few of our neighbors actually received tickets during this time and we will work on making sure we correct this "UN-fair" situation before next year's event.
